2024 dinner dates at the American Legion in Apple Valley located at 14521 Granada are set!

We invite all current military and veterans and their families to join together for a delicious meal. Following the meeting we have variety, ranging from speakers, informational topics, or entertainment.

Doors open at 5:00 with dinner served starting at 5:30. Join us by reserving your spot by calling 952-923-5014.

Thursday, March 21 - Sloppy joes and coleslaw
Thursday, April 18 - Chicken Alfredo with breadsticks
Thursday, May 16 - Roast Beef and mashed potatoes
Thursday, June 20 - Pork Sandwich with Chips
July - no dinner, on vacation!
Thursday, August 15 - Parmesan Chicken and mashed potatoes
Thursday, September 19 - Meatloaf with mashed potatoes
Thursday, October 17 -& Wild Rice soup with salad
Thursday, November 21 - Turkey and mashed potatoes
December - no dinner, Merry Christmas!

Entertainment

We don’t just host our dinners to enjoy good food and comradery, we periodically have great entertainment as well!

At our November dinner we were honored to have the Velvet Tones Choir, a community choral group of senior adults who have been making music together for over 20 years. They sang many fan favorites including the theme song for each military branch. A member of the Velvet Tones is Tom Werner from our own Beyond the Yellow Ribbon chapter.
